The “what can be made from coal?” quiz
Each class group were given a picture quiz and asked to say which items could be made from coal.
Eric Eaton, Chair of the Association, presents the winners of the quiz with their prize, a miner’s ‘motty’.
Eric said,
The children really seemed to enjoy themselves and they did particularly well in the quiz, which is quite hard. They often do better than their teachers!” Well done Ryton Park Primary School.
