On Saturday 21st October at 10.00am on the site of the Sherwood Colliery Pit Wheel – off Debdale Lane, Sherwood Rise, Mansfield Woodhouse NG19 7NS. Wreaths will be laid and members of the public invited to tie black ribbons of rememberance on the pit wheel. This is followed by a celebration of mining community life at the Sherwood Rooms, Sherwood Colliery Welfare Centre, 1 Dunsil Road, Mansfield NG19 7GD from 11.00am til 1.00pm
